Lorna was looking for a beautiful website with imagery that evoked a sense of calm and serenity in its visitors. Squarespace was the natural choice.

First we set out to find imagery that would soothe. Lorna was specific about the type of imagery - landscapes but no seascapes (as seascapes denote disruption) with warm tones, but no sunsets (signifying an end) - which brought us to autumnal forestscapes - the idea of change like the change of a season, the warmth in the colour tones, the serenity of a quiet forest.

Using parallax scrolling meant that the user can access all information without multiple clicks and loading times giving  instant access to information and contact details.
